5 Aug '01: Dave ties the knot
Today The Sunday Mirror writes: "Eurythmics star Dave Stewart wed for the second time yesterday in a star-studded service in a mountain villa near Cannes on the French Riviera. But the multi-millionaire, 48, barely raised a smile as he tied the knot with photographer Anouska Fisz, 28, mother of their 2 year old daughter Kaye. Guests included former band partner Annie Lennox, Sir Elton John, Liam and Noel Gallagher and Mick Jagger - but not first wife ex-Bananarama singer Siobhan Fahey".
Lots of pictures from the wedding (including proof that Dave did smile - of course)

24 Aug '01: Come together for Lennon

"Come Together: A Night for John Lennon" will be led by musical director Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics, and also will feature Moby and Nelly Furtado, according to a source, with additional artists expected. An edited version of the show is scheduled to air Oct. 9 on TNT. Producers had originally expressed interest in staging the Lennon tribute in May, but reportedly rescheduled due to the touring plans of several major acts that were interested in taking part. - from Billboard online
