6 Jan '01: 'Eurythmics Greatest Hits' re-entered the the UK Album charts at #26 over Christmas, which is quite amazing considering it was released almost 10 years ago! It has now spent a total of 118 weeks in the charts and has been certified 6x platinum in the UK.

30 Jan '01: A few days ago British paper The Sun wrote this: "DAVE STEWART ... has been in pain for two months with colitis, a disease which causes ulcers in the intestine. But after jetting to America, specialists there are still trying to figure out how to cure him.
... A pal said: "He's in agony and he's really worried because doctors don't seem to have found a cure. At one point he lost two stone because he couldn't eat." ... A spokesman for Dave said: "He lost weight and hasn't been feeling great." ... "Doctors are still doing tests but he has been feeling a bit better in the last few weeks."
Please see the February news. This report from The Sun turned out to be a false rumour. Sorry.
