20 Nov '00: Dave was in Paris last week to promote the premiere of his film Honest. He did more than just talk about the film however, which you will know all about after reading this feature article.

20 Nov '00: On the new album by U2 'Everything That You Can't Leave Behind' Dave Stewart is credited as the 'early inspiration' behind the track 'Walk On'.

5 Dec '00: 'mountain o' money piled up to my chin' - or so it goes. Well how big a pile would Annie have? I'm not going to do the math but according to The Sunday Times (UK paper), Annie features at number 453 of the British Pay List 2000 along side other artists and a lot of business men. They estimate her income this year to be £1.7 million as it says here:

"According ot the accounts of DnA in the year to March 1999, Lennox earned £865,000 (assuming she was the highest-paid director) from the band's back list. Another of her companies, La Lennoxa, paid out £230,000 in directors' remunerations in the last accounts, mosy of which we assume went to her. Earnings from Peace and tour revenues will have pushed her income in the past year to double that registered by DnA in early 1999 - around £1.7 million in total. Such is her overall wealth that Lennox and Stewart could afford to give away all tour profits to Greenpeace and Amnesty International. Stewart doesn't make our list, however, on account of his lower earnings from DnA in the past year. He directed the box-office turkey Honest, starring 3 members of the pop group All Saints."

Meanwhile Business Age Magazine have been pondering who are the richest rock stars in Britain. Well Paul McCartney is at #1 (no kidding) at £500 million!! Dave is in there at number 33 with £22.9m, and Annie is at number 38 with £14.7m. Which probably makes Annie one of the wealthiest female artists in Britain save for the Spice Girls of course.

12 Dec '00: I'm a bit late in pointing you to this online charity auction, but if you hurry you can still see (and place a bid on) a unique dinner plate designed by Annie Lennox: Go to 'View a specific sale catalogue' and then find the 'big dinner auction' in the menu - Auction website

Please note: I try to be as accurate as possible. I will post everything I know. If rumours are never confirmed then it's because I don't have any more details, sorry.
