July 7 '99: Sunday July 4th Eurythmics performed 4 songs at the "Party In The Park" event in Londons Hyde Park among others acts such as Blondie and Roxette:

- And Monday July 5th at the Themes in London they boarded the Greenpeace ship Rainbow Warrior II and played a few songs to officially announce their upcoming world tour.

July 12 '99: Starting Wed. July 14th @ 8:00 ET the Apple website will broadcast an excerpt of the recent "Rainbow Warrior"gig (see feature).

July 19 '99: From NY Daily News: "Arista records honcho Clive Davis claims he feels a "tingle" every time he thinks he hears a new hit song. And his most recent tingle occurred on the Isle of Capri last week, when Annie Lennox and her former Eurythmics partner, Dave Stewart, visited him and played him what will become the first Eurythmics album in 10 years."

July 27 '99: Annie Lennox has made the top 10 at #9 on music channel VH1's 100 Greatest Women of Rock & Roll just one spot lower than Madonna. Winner was Aretha Franklin. A five part documentary about Women in Rock hosted by Susan Sarandon debuts on July 26 on VH1 ; it includes all new interviews and vintage performances.
