Jan 97: Sweet Dreams has long been a classic, maybe it's the most famous Eurythmics song of all. At least a lot of people have covered it, sampled it or been inspired by it, for instance: Hip hopper Nas has used the chorus on his "Street Dreams". Marilyn Manson made an unlistenable metal cover version and Safety Groove remixed it. But I still prefer the real thing..

Feb 97: Dave Stewart has cowritten and produced a track on the new Texas album - "White on Blond".

Feb 97: Dave Stewart was among the artists who did a charity project called Milestones for the organisation War Child. The artists paid tribute to their heroes doing three-dimensional art works. Stewart chose Bob Dylan. An auction was held at the Saatchi Gallery in north London on Tuesday 4th February.

Feb 97: Rumour (from an employee in Arista USA) has it, that a Eurythmics box set is on it's way towards the end of this year. Allegedly Annie and Dave are working together compiling the tracks. Let's hope for some rare or unreleased stuff.
