New Dave Stewart single
"
All Around the World"

Dave Stewart has released a single for the Cricket World Cup on the 31st of May called "All Around The World". I haven't heard it yet myself but was told that it sounds very much like Dave's latest album "Sly-Fi" with a world music twist as it includes the sounds of trumpets, sitars, steel bands and a didgeree doo.
The song is written by Dave Stewart and Chucho Merchan. Dave sings the lead vocals.

The song is released as a 3 Track CD Single in the UK w. 3 mixes: Radio Mix \ Instrumental \ Original. It has a gold sleeve, no pictures, just lettering across blue and white globe Cricket World Cup logo.

Released on BMG

Lyrics :

Everybody,
Everybody All over the world
join the festival.

Everybody,
Everbody all over the world
life is a carnival

the sun is up,
the sky is red,
no grey clouds inside your head.
The air is full of electricity,
it blows through you
and it howls through me

hero's come and hero's go,
wise men watch the river flow,
as man is tough.
woman is strong,
the universe is just one song

... It sings everybody,
everbody all over the world,
join the festival.

Everybody,
Everybody All over the world
life is a carnival

the meek and the gentle will inherit the stars,
men from venus,
women from mars,
if their bodies be weak
let their spirit be strong
their time will come each

and everyone...
